Born in 1958 in Washington DC, DJ Kool is an American DJ and rapper who produced several popular rap singles in the 80's. In 1996, he released his chart-topping single "Let Me Clear My Throat" with American recordings which peaked at #8 in the UK Singles Chart in March 1997 and in 1996 in the U.S. In 2005, DJ Kool guested in Will Smith's album Lost and Found with the single "We won't". DJ Kool also worked with Mýa's 2006 single "Ayo!" from her 2008 album Liberation.
He released three albums in total which includes "The Music Ain't Loud Enuff" in 1990, 20 Minute Workout in 1992 and Let Me Clear My Throat in 1996. Below are the singles that ranked DJ Kool in Billboards:
